In the present day, Connor North is one of the few remaining members of the New York faction of the nationwide Mutant Underground network founded by the X-Men before they disappeared, along with the Brotherhood, following the fallout caused from the anti-mutant laws and the 7/15 incident that caused devastating losses for both mutants and humans alike.
However, in truth, Connor actually comes from a 𝐧𝐨𝐭-𝐬𝐨-𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 in a world overrun by sentinels in which mutantkind has been hunted to the point of extinction. In his original timeline, Connor was a part of the 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 that fought towards ending the oppression, cruelty, and hatred by freeing their fellow mutants from detention centres, hitting sentinel factories to prevent further production of the evolving machines, and providing refuge for persecuted mutants all while pursuing Charles Xavier's dying dream of peace.
For twelve long years, Connor was a critical member of many mutant resistance teams until he was hit hard by an enormous backlash of psychic feedback, the accident placing him into a coma that it seemed unlikely he would ever wake up from. It was during this time, when all hope looked to be lost, that Connor’s consciousness was sent back into the past to a time when he has since become unrecognisable to his friends and found family. But where so much is uncertain, his mission isn’t: 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰.
